Bay-Delta SCHISM Coastal ROMS Dataset for Boundary Relaxation [DRAFT]
The Bay-Delta SCHISM model connects to the CenCOOS ROMS model of the coast using Newtonian relaxation or "nudging". The files in this dataset are cached, subsetted copies of the netcdf output from the ROMS model that is needed to populate the nudging inputs of SCHISM. Note that (infrequently) some dates are missing or corrupted in the CenCOOS output and that we have filled in the data usually by copying the prior available day. The process applies to temperature and salinity near the ocean boundary. This dataset is under construction and should not be used.
