Medi-Cal Long-Term Services and Supports Data (Archived)

Legacy file of statewide and stratified annual rates for 2017 - 2021 based on 2022 data. Long-Term Services and Support (LTSS) refers to critical long-term care (LTC) facilities and home and community-based service (HCBS) programs that support older adults and people with disabilities through the Medi-Cal (California’s version of Medicaid) program. DHCS is making LTSS data available using a phased approach. The initial iteration of the LTSS data was released in December 2022 with 40 measures describing beneficiaries who used various LTSS services. Data include annual rates stratified by ten different demographic and health plan-related dimensions between 2017 and 2021. Additional measures will be added in 2023.
